《Literacy play kit》系由香港教育大學心理學系楊少詩教博士及幼兒教育學系吳美莉博士共同研發，並在《2019加拿大國籍發明創新競賽（ICan）》榮獲銀獎。
香港的小朋友早於幼兒階段已學習英語，大學教育亦以英文為主。但現實中能應用英文口語的機會不多，而且坊間的英語課程也比較貴，非一般基層家庭能長期負擔。
產品《Literacy play kit》旨在讓家長和小朋友可以透過遊戲互動的方式學習英文，讓小朋友能於一開始接觸英文就擁有快樂回憶，在愉快中學習。
從幼兒教育及心理學的角度看來，家長參與是小朋友語言學習不可或缺的一環。透過玩樂，使學習過程變得生動有趣。研究顯示透過遊戲互動，幼兒在學習動機和自主學習兩方面均有明顯的進步。
本校心理學系楊少詩教博士及幼兒教育學系吳美莉博士曾進行為期八星期的研究，結果顯示參與研究的家庭認同遊戲教學是有效果的，而且親子關係有所改善。
